DHA MHS Information Platform (MIP) Code Maintenance, Data Processing Operations, Data Model, and DQ Support Program
In service to the DOD for the past 20 years, TMCI has designed, developed, integrated, maintained, and operated the MDR processors that transform health care records into analytical data sets via programs written in both SAS and Perl.In support of DHA, TMCI is fully responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and operating the MHS MDR processors that ingest data from 16 clinical and business health systems and receive and validate data from the DoD’s worldwide network of more than 260 health care facilities. TMCI manages and provides 100% staffing for all MDR related activities, including data management, data processing, and supporting the MDR as the authoritative data source of the DHA for analytics and decision making.
DHA Data Quality & Integration (DQ&I) Program
TMCI has been providing exceptional identification, analysis, remediation, data management, data governance, root cause analysis (RCA), and analytic reporting on patient identity and demographic issues across DOD medical platforms since 2007. Currently, TMCI uses its in-depth understanding of patient data and system interactions across the DHA enterprise to develop, maintain, implement, and operate the business rules, processes, policies, data governance, data management, tools, and robotic process automation (RPA) that have reduced patient identity data quality issues across the enterprise from more than 12% to less than 4% of patient records. TMCI manages this complete program, including all program management activities and deliverables, and TMCI’s leadership team, enterprise architects, data scientists and senior data analysts have a collective 75 years working data quality programs.

October 2024 - TMCI is proud to announce that the Data Quality and Integration (DQ&I) program supporting Military Health Service (MHS) was selected as a GOVTECH CONNECTS’s Digital Health Transformation Award Recipient.
The Digital Health Transformation Award recognizes Federal and Military Health IT programs that are harnessing the power of emerging technologies to advance their missions and spotlight the dedicated teams behind this groundbreaking work.
Honorees were formally recognized at the Digital Health Summit ‘24 on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Falls Church Marriott, Fairview Park, 3111 Fairview Park Dr., Falls Church, VA. This event brought together leaders and innovators from across government and industry to celebrate transformative achievements in health IT.
